Forza 2 Porsche 997 GT3 tune

I made a *really* nice tune for Porsche 997 GT3 in Forza 2 today. Before you set this up I want to explain my way of driving and my tuning philosophy.

They way I tune my cars is for controller and without any assists, not even ABS. I love to be able to break while entering apex releasing breaks softly before middle into the corner and then be able to start accelerate very early. While cornering I want the car to be dead neutral or a smidge of understeer. This forces me to turn in and place the car exactly correct which is easier if you can softly break while steering into apex - because of a smidge of understeer I know I can hit full throttle relatively early in the corner without loosing rear grip. Also, when having a neutral car you can mostly often place the car precisely where you want it in the curve with the throttle.

This tune is maximum S-class (S 998). I did the S-class Endurance race with it in 46 min 25.793 sec. My fastest is about one minute better in a Saleen. During the Endurance I noticed the 997 GT3 with race enginge block really shines at low rpm:s making it a very good strategy to short shift in corners to have a little less power exiting the corner but maximum grip and a very looong nice acceleration without needing to shift for a while.

Engine upgrades:

Race Clutch
Race Diff
Race Weight reduction

Race Tires Avon

3.30 final gear ratio (as is)
-1,1 front camber
-0,4 rear camber
5.5 front caster
12,75 front anti-roll bar
13 rear anti-roll bar
76,57 front springs stiffness
82,33 rear springs stiffness
Lowest height setting unless you drive on bumpy tracks like Nüburgring
8,2 front rebound damping
8,9 rear rebound damping
3,1 front damping stiffness
3,2 rear damping stiffness
39% acc diff

Hans berättarstil är enerverande, vilket är ovanligt på ted.com, men det han berättar är desto häftigare:

Hade tänkt slänga iväg en offert på några "Swiss grade"/"AAA"-replikor och funderar på några av dessa:

Hublot Big Bang "Ayrton Senna"

Hublot Bat Bang (tvivlar starkt på att någon gjort en replika på den här)

Under construction..
